The classical elegance of chamber music meets the exotic folk world of the Chilean charango in the third annual Simsbury Chamber Music Festival.
Each Tuesday evening in May, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Eno Memorial Hall (doors open at 7 p.m.) we invite you to attend this exiting series. Featuring the Alturas Duo with guest cellist Jennifer Combs on May 10, the Myftari Trio on May 17, the Hartt Percussion Ensemble on May 24, and the Sleeping Giant String Ensemble on May 31. To complement the music, exhibits by local visual artists will be featured prior to each performance and during intermission. In addition, the concerts will feature the music of this year's composer in residence, Dan Román.

The Simsbury Chamber Music Festival was founded in 2002 as a not-for-profit, all volunteer, community-based organization dedicated to bringing artistic and musical experiences directly to the residents of Simsbury and the Farmington Valley. Our past 2004 season filled Eno Hall with music from a talented array of musicians who brought passion, energy, and charm to each performance.
