Les Inègales


Les Inègales specializes in French Baroque Music from the 18th century. The ensemble has also grown to include a repertoire of masterpieces from other European countries, as well as contemporary music. Les Inègales recorded "Ordinaire de la chambre du roi" for Carpe Diem Records in 1998 and “A la Bach” in 2004. The group has performed and recorded throughout Europe and South America.

Christine Gevert (Harpsichord), founding member of Les Inegales, is currently the choir director and organist at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lime Rock, NY. She is also the artistic director of “Crescendo” Classical Music Festival in the Berkshires.

Lisa Rautenberg (Baroque Violin) is the Associate Concertmaster of the Hartford Symphony. Lisa can be heard on over 100 recordings on labels such as Champignon International, SONY Classical, Virgin Classics, Newport Classics, and MCA.

Rodrigo "Chili" Tarraza (flute) trained and performed in flute before moving to sax, electronic wind, bosonova, jazz improv, and avant-garde music. Rodrigo has taught at the San Francisco Conservatory, the New England Conservatory, and several universities in South America.
